I received great service from same day surgery, Karen in preregistration, Nurse Loretta follow up and information. Everyone was very professional and friendly. Dr. Nguyen was great, as well as Nurse Lynn in recovery. The follow through after surgery was wonderful. Overall a very positive experience.

It is great to have Bobby back from her medical leave. Her contributions to the department are too numerous to mention and not having her here only served to emphasize that point.

I had to miss work last week, unexpectedly. I heard rave reviews about the way Ann handle multiple issues (at once) during the week. Great job Ann!

These staff members are exceptional!!! Spend one day with them as they perform their duties and you will see how service excellence should be utilized at UHCC! They are an asset to our department and we could not do what we do without them!! Thank you ladies!

Patient called to say how wonderful Patti was to her and others she witnessed today. She went above and beyond and could tell she does it routinely by the way she interacted with the people around her. She took her by wheelchair over to Dr. Paff's office because she has a bad knee and cannot thank her enough.

Thank you guys so much for washing our babies clothes when they need to be washed. We have had many donations of clothes and it is a big help that you guys wash (and fold) them for us. Thanks again. Way to show GREAT service excellence :)

2 East CNA's, both day and night shift should hold their heads high and be proud. I have never seen such teamwork and hard work. These staff members are the BEST. Thanks for all you do.

Everyone knows how we have been short staffed do to nurses leaving, people out for surgery, and people also out for vacations. I would like to thank the MIC and Peds group for going far and beyond there jobs on helping that both units had coverage without complaining, That’s what makes team work. Thanks to all of you; could not do it all without you. ( KUDOS)

We, the lab had the pleasure of having this young lady clean our area this evening. Boy what a treat! Not only did she clean EVERYTHING, she is a most pleasant person. She went above and beyond her duties, and we really appreciate it. Thanks Brenda for making our area sparkle.

Rusty is such a team worker. She goes beyond the call of duty and patients think she is the greatest. Rusty is always willing to help whenever, with a smile and a gung-ho attitude.

Dan caught up with me from the parking lot on the way in to tell me the tire on my car was flat. I had no idea! Because he took the time to warn me, I didn't have to deal with a "surprise" when I went to leave in the afternoon. Thanks!

I wanted to brag about Samantha Parkinson. She is always willing to help out, even when she is busy. She takes time out of whatever she is doing, puts it aside, and provides her undivided attention to help. She is a great example of a team player!

I am new nurse in the dialysis unit. I want to thank Robin who is a physician recruiter, for being kind to me on my first day. I must of had that lost look. Since I was early and the door was locked she let me stay in the physicians lounge till my co-worker arrived, and made me a cup of coffee. Thank you Robin for such a warm welcome, Cathy

I just wanted to thank all those people who have spent countless hours rolling isolation gowns so they don’t end up falling on the floor. I know it seems like a never ending task and I just wanted you to know it’s appreciated.

On a very busy Sunday in the ER I had a patient who was Spanish speaking only. I couldn't stay in CT to translate, but Eddie, after working two shifts was willing to stay a little later to translate. Eddie is the epitome of Service Excellence. Gracias Eddie!

Thanks for being right there when we need you. I know you are all seeing a lot of patients and those texts and pages you receive can slow you down, but the nurses do appreciate your willingness to work with them.

I want to thank our sister unit for all of your time and support in our journey of critical staffing and positive change. We appreciate all you do, all the times you run over to verify meds, give breaks, and cover staffing. ......and always with a smile. Thank you MIC Team!
